PRADA LINEA ROSSA × WILLOW SMITH

So Willow Smith casually busked in a London underground station to launch the new Prada Linea Rossa line.

Crowds. Prams. A convenient Pret. There may be many things you might expect to see traversing through London’s Tottenham Court Station, but one surreal and unexpected sight had passers-by double-taking earlier on today.

Willow Smith took to the busy underground station for an unannounced performance to mark the launch of the singer’s new Prada Linea Rossa autumn/winter 2019 range.

“Designed to make an everyday commute into an extraordinary experience,” the fleeting performance also was intended to underline the imprint’s “streamlined, innovative, technical, real” values, explains Prada.

Why Tottenham Court Road? An entrance to the Central Line, it symbolises “London’s own Linea Rossa,” the brand explains.

“Engineered for modern living,” the AW19 collection, Prada Linea Rossa: A Line Through, premiered at the Prada Men’s and Women’s runway show in Milan in January – characterised by streamlined, forward-thinking fabrics and contemporary silhouettes, also featuring that signature red Linea Rossa emblem, of course.

Commute glow-up everyday, please.
