If most of your days involve looking wistfully out of a rain-streaked window wondering where summer went, here is a song to bring you straight back.

Introducing five-piece San Francisco Bay Area collective, Peach Tree Rascals, very much living up to their name with their carefree, genre-fluid vibe, playfully meandering between alt-jazz, funk, pop, hip-hop, and R&B.

And their latest sun-drenched track “Mango” is no exception, a feel good and laidback ode to trying to keep positive – with the music video showing the gang messing around in pools, on broad walks, and candy-coloured lifeguard huts.

“‘Mango’ is one of those songs we feel like really shows who we are as a group,” explains Joseph from the Peach Tree Rascals. “We love making music that is happy and shows life from a more positive light. One of my favourite lines in the song is ‘you’re the only author.’ It reminds me that regardless of people telling you what to do or having a negative outlook on how you live your life, you’re ultimately the one that creates your own path.”
