Japanese designer Issey Miyake’s Paris Fashion Week show merged practicality with free-flowing, tasseled dresses and accessories, debuting his first collaboration with new designer Satoshi Kondo for SS20.
Kyoto-born Kondo made sure the ready-to-wear collection lived up to its name, with pleated dresses, oversized jackets and even skateboards on the runway. But there’s been no compromise when it comes to the style.
The headwear was strong with this collection, from oversized floppy hats and structured headpieces, to matching prints across hats and suits. Bold prints and block colours are also a favourite of ours amongst the clothes, with bright orange raincoats providing us with rainy-day fashion inspo now that the sun’s no longer shining.
