Prada products may look right at home in the hustle and bustle of London, but their new collection has in mind the nomad inside all of us. Influenced by a desire to merge fashion and functionality, Prada Escape leans on themes of travel, journeys and venturing into the unknown.
The collection, which introduces a partnership between Selfridges and Prada, includes a new spin on the iconic Prada gabardine nylon and Prada double match shirts against camouflage prints. Alongside high quality products and innovative designs, the range also has a focus on practicality, with features such as cargo pockets and zippers, belt bags and backpacks, and accessories which offer drawstrings, straps and roller-buckles – perfect for the adventurer eager to explore.
And if you are planning on debuting your new pieces on a trip into nature (or just a hot day in the city), Prada Escape offers reusable water bottles – sustainable accessories have never looked so stylish. A collaboration with Japanese stationer Midori introduces an exclusive iteration of their classic Traveller’s Notebook, alongside pens, stickers and mini notebooks, allowing us to document our travels in collage-style journals imbued with the range’s inventive feel.
The Prada Escape collection will be available at Selfridge’s The Corner Shop throughout September.
