We already knew that dream girl Maya Hawke wasn’t the only Stranger Things star to also be blessed with musical talents when we discovered Joe Keery’s psychedelic rock band Post Animal and their debut album from last year. But now the actor, best known for embodying jock-turned-nice-guy Steve Harrington in the ‘80s-set supernatural show, has announced that he’s releasing his own solo album under the moniker Djo.

After teasing fans with singles all summer, including debut track “Roddy” in July and “Chateau (Feel Alright)” earlier this month, Keery dropped another song, “Mortal Projections”, and announced on Instagram that his first solo album Twenty Twenty will be released on 13th September.

The synth-laden track feature Keery’s distinctive vocals as he croons, “I can’t take much more of this, my heart will flutter back into its cage”. Steve Harrington can relate.
