Jil Sander just dreamed up our ideal working wardrobe.

Since taking over the brand in 2017, husband-and-wife Lucie and Luke Meier (previously designers at Dior and Supreme respectively), have been refining the brand’s signature minimalist aesthetic, presenting us with fluid silhouettes, utilitarian workwear, neutral palettes and relaxed tailoring.

For their SS20 men’s collection, the pair elevated their staple looks with stitched details, distressed knitwear, pinstripes and faux leather, in shades of cream, beige, sand, burgundy and navy. Describing the collection as “hymns to nature” in the show notes, the brand also highlighted its sustainability efforts, with some trench coats even made from organic banana fibre.

Models walked to “The Charming Man” by The Smiths, and to state the obvious, the casting was pretty flawless too…
