It’s been nearly two years since we were with the gang in Hawkins, Indiana. And frankly, it’s been far too long.

Season 3 of Stranger Things is back on our screens on 4 July (Independence Day, baby), and Netflix – sensing our increasing rabid anticipation of its return – has dropped another official trailer, and we are stirred with how ominous things look.

The kids have grown up. The Upside Down is back in all its red vengeful fury. And this time the Demogorgan or whatever alien reiteration we’re dealing with seems to have locked onto a host, and its terrifying voice is enough to keep our hairs on permanent vertical.

Is it too late to start praying now that Netflix keep our core gang intact?
