JADEN SMITH TO PLAY KANYE WEST
The young musician will play an “alternate” West in a new show, produced by the Chicago rapper himself.
In the nonsensical ‘creative’ babbling equivalent of an unstoppable force meeting an immovable item, it has been revealed that armchair philosopher and son-to-Will Jaden Smith will be taking on the role of Kanye West in a new TV show. The show, inevitably produced by West himself, will find the young singer portraying an alternate reality version of the Chicago rapper.
According to the reports, the half-hour anthology series will be called “Omniverse”, and will “[examine] the many doors of perception.” It has been reported that Kanye West, Jaden Smith, Scooter Braun, and writer Lee Sung Jin will executive produce
In a statement, Lee Sung Jin said: “I’m honored and thrilled to be collaborating with everyone involved to present an alternate world through the eyes of a young man somewhere in the multiverse who happens to also be a Kanye West. “Omniverse” is not set in our world nor about our world’s Kanye West as we aim to add a new spin on alternate realities, consciousness, and push the limits of half hour narrative.”
