WONDERLIST

James Blake, Snoh Aalegra, DC: here are all the songs we’ve got on repeat.

Snoh Aalegra – “You”

COLORS-approved Swedish songstress Snoh is back with this heartfelt R&B soother, and what’s not to love? The artist’s honey vocals dance on the soulful slow-jam – purpose-built for late-night living room winding.

James Blake – “Barefoot In The Park (feat. Rosalía)”

Who needs balance? We’ll listen everyday. (Apologies.) At the beginning of the year, James Blake released his highly-anticipated sophomore record, Assume Form, featuring Andre 3000, Travis Scott, and of course, buzzy Spanish flamenco singer Rosalía. This week, the duo dropped their time-warping visuals for “Barefoot In The Park,” which sees the pair (+ their child selves) making their way to each other following a car crash.

Porridge Radio – “Give/Take”

The start of summer sounds. Exactly. Like. This. What started as a solo project back in 2012 eventually became a four-piece effort, with top marks for their 2016 debut album Rice, Pasta And Other Fillers. The Brighton/London indie gang are now back with this laidback, jangly hit – sure to soundtrack many warm evenings to come.

DC – “Hustla”

South East London rapper DC has been making waves for his fiery rap and grime freestyle hybrids, now cementing his position with his freshly-dropped mixtape, Under the Influence. And “Hustla” off the record is a propulsive big one, with the visuals upturning the meaning of the word, instead celebrating with strong images of black females. We stan.

Navvy – “Subliminal”

New Zealand-hailed singer-songwriter Navvy – aka Phoebe Jasper Lee – has burst onto the scene with confident debut track “Subliminal,” and it’s all sorts of electro-pop bliss. Super saccharine vocals trickle over twinkling synths for an easy-listening ear worm.
