FACES OF LFW

Get to know some of our favourite street-stylers.

Once again, another London Fashion Week weekend flew by in a blur of shows and parties (check out what went down at the Wonderland x Christian Louboutin party).

And in the midst of all the chaos, fluttering in between shows were the pap-worthy dedicated street-stylers, whose style are the main obsession points year in, year out.

We sent a photographer down and caught up with some about their dream show, fashion icons and desert island beauty products…

Who is your fashion icon?
This might be a bit weird, but I am an 80s Madonna fan, so her. And I love anything Versace. But I wouldn’t say I have an icon, I find different styles and then make myself my icon.

What’s your dream show to attend?
Vivienne Westwood. I would much rather be in there right now than standing outside of it.

Who is your fashion icon?
I wouldn’t say there is one particular. I take [inspiration] from many different places – art, music. And Pharrell Williams, he is a big inspiration for me.

If you could raid someone’s wardrobe who’s would it be?
I will go with a female actually, and pick Beyonce. I am not sure I would fit in any of her clothes, but it would be nice to have a look around.

Who is your fashion icon?
This is such a simple question, because the fashion icon of the world for everybody should be Rihanna. She is just everything me.

Who are you stalking on Instagram?
I love Beyonce’s Instagram, because it feels like we can touch her, even though she is so fucking famous, she is iconic, she slays. And of course Lady Gaga, she is my queen, she is my mother!

Who is your fashion icon?
(Gus) Samuel Ross or Virgil Abloh. They both bring something different, something which is needed. Especially Samuel Ross, his stuff just attracts me.
(Dillion) Yeh, Samuel Ross stuff is concrete. It stands out a lot, compared to a lot of other shit.

Who are you stalking on Instagram?
(Gus) Slik Syd is pretty sick, he’s got some drip for sure. I like what he is doing. He wears some sick clothes.
(Dillon) Probably, Billie Eilish, to be honest, irrelevant to her being an artist, I really like what she wears, some of it is quite gothy, but I still like that kinda stuff.

Who is your fashion icon?
To be honest, I look to the music industry – I think my ultimate icon is Rihanna, she takes risks and bold moves. She’s an inspiration.

Which beauty product would you take to a desert island?
It has to be mascara – waterproof or not waterproof, I don’t care, I’ve just got to have mascara.

Who is your fashion icon?
My dad is pretty sick. Yeh, I wear a lot of his clothes. I just wear his old stuff, basically anything that fits me.

Who are you stalking on Instagram?
I read a lot of Diet Prada stuff, I find that quite funny, but that’s it really.
