PREMIERE: FAR CASPIAN – “CONVERSATIONS”

The Leeds trio drop a dazzling new dream-pop bop.

After releasing their beaut debut EP “Between Days” last year, upcoming Leeds three-piece Far Caspian are giving us a little taster of the gems set to come this year. Dropping their hazy and dreamy new number “Conversations”, the trio are moving away from their self-diagnosed “melanjolly” style of their first EP and into slightly sunnier territories.

Blending 80s influences and their gorge chilled indie melodies, “Conversations” is the kind of track that seems destined to soundtrack sun-drenched road trips and works perfect as a laid-back bop to get us even more excited for their sophomore EP. “The first EP was about being stuck and not really having an idea of how to fix it, whereas this EP is about breaking out and enjoying your 20s and trying to figure out the process that comes with it,” Far Caspian say. “We’ve always loved 80s bands and we wanted to get more of that influence in our sound. This whole EP definitely explores that more.”
