Fresh off of dropping their incredible debut EP “Given Up” (and chatting to the gang at Rollacoaster all about it for their AW18 issue), Limerick based babes whenyoung are back with another banger in the form of their brand new guitar pop bop “Never Let Go”.

“It’s a song about mental health and hope,” frontwoman Aoife Power explains. “It’s a message to let people know that you can share your pain with others. It’s a reminder that someone is always there for you even in the darkest times. There is always a reason not to let go.”

Released with a stunning accompanying vid directed by Aella Jordan-Edge, the visuals follow the group as they move about between three separate rooms representing different states of being. “The three different rooms White, Red and Blue represent different states of mind” Aella explains. “They each have their own colour palette and their own feeling. After discussions with Aoife, Niall [Burns, guitar] and Andrew [Flood, drums] I got to understand more about why they wrote ‘Never Let Go’ and what it represented for them. It was clear we needed a performance concept where a strong sense of emotion was the driving force.”
