AW19 was a season for dynamic collaborations at London Fashion Week Men’s, and there’s few more renowned for supporting London-based designers than Christian Louboutin. Last week they continued their longstanding commitment to special collaborations, partnering with both E. Tautz and Mowalola.
Fashion East’s show is always a highlight in London, and this season’s lineup included CSM grad Mowalola. Known for exploring provacation and pleasure, Mowalola experiments with colours, pattern and texture to create bold and distinctive pieces. Their AW19 offering included miniskirts in on-trend neon, extravagant necklines, cutouts bodysuits, acid-effect denim and the most to-die-for custom Christian Louboutin knee-high boots we’ve ever seen. Louboutin recreated the “Tokyo Zip” from the collection in shades of lemon yellow, plum suede and candy-coloured blue.
