Design duo DANSHAN presented their 2019 collection at Sarabande Foundation on Sunday, where models glided through a pool of shallow water, like real life angels on earth. The collection reflected the setup – think high-shine, wet look leather and gelled-down hair.

Known to take an experimental approach with silhouettes and gendered dressing, DANSHAN presented a collage of textures and silhouettes in shades of monochrome, caramel and olive green. From silky scarves to oversized collars, hoodies under trenches and jeans with kitschy rouched satin inserts and flared trains, the fits were feminine, sleek and consistently glossy.
