“Our philosophy is simple: help you green up your gaff – however concrete, small or borrowed your space may be”, promises London & Essex Florist Grace & Thorn. A pretty sweet prospect for those of us renting questionably priced box rooms in London.
Founded by Nik Southern in 2011, Grace & Thorn has built a reputation for crafting uniquely beautiful floral arrangements and installations. Drawing inspiration from art and fashion, their distinctive pieces play with colour, texture and asymmetry to ensure no two designs are the same.
Their services include no-fuss wedding bouquets, which you can choose from a curated selection online, as well as bespoke decor for a wide variety of events (including our Man About Town Winter 2018 / Spring 2019 launch dinner), for which they provide everything from props and vessels, to table centrepieces and extravagant hanging displays.
Grace & Thorn are also renowned for hosting laid-back flower arranging workshops at their studio in Hackney: their “Master Class” takes place on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, where you can create your own centrepiece vase arrangement (whilst drinking complimentary prosecco), while “Terrarium Tuesdays”, held once a month, provide all the essentials to create your own miniature succulent garden.
Lifestyle products, gift vouchers and DIY kits are also available online, for a creative solution to last-minute Christmas gifting.
