Last month, Saint Laurent announced their brand new art project, SELF, which invited collaborators to capture various incarnations of the YSL woman.
To kick it all off, the French house enlisted the help of legendary photographer Daidō Moriyama, who took to the streets of Japan for a series of glamorous, black-and-white imagery.
Now for the second instalment in SELF, creative director Anthony Vaccarello has tapped Italian performance artist Vanessa Beecroft, who will be presenting large-scale projects at Miami’s prestigious Art Basel.
The images show the YSL army at the end of the catwalk during the SS19 show, complete with the Eiffel Tower infinity pool and palm trees in the background.
Vanessa Beecroft’s SELF02 will be presented in Miami’s Design District between 1-15 December during Art Basel. Find out more here at YSL.com
