PREMIERE: DAN D’LION – “GIVE WHAT YOU TAKE”

The London-based newcomer takes us for a dance around a disused building in his brand new vid.

After emerging from the sidelines earlier this month, Dan D’Lion – real name Dan Bartlett – burst onto the scenes with his mesmerising alt-pop stylings in the form of debut track “Give What You Take”. Speaking on it, he said: “This was the first track I wrote for myself where everything started to make sense. As it all came together it felt like a real turning point, and the lyrics actually ended up becoming motivational to myself in a way, taking away the daunting aspect of crafting something for myself.”

Getting us hooked with his off-kilter sound, he’s now returned with an equally wonderfully weird video to match. Taking place in the kind of surroundings you’d more often expect to see a horror film begin, the captivating visuals flick between dancing scenes and finish – as all videos should – with a glitter confetti finale.
