PREMIERE: CHILDCARE – “BAMBOO”

The rising quartet take on another dimension.

It’s a known phrase that people “don’t like change”, but sometimes a little shake up is just what keeps everything so exciting. Such is the case with CHILDCARE’s latest bop “Bamboo”. With bassist Emma Topolski taking over from frontman Ed Cares on lead vocals, the dreamy track fuses hypnotising melodies and bold guitar backings to create an unmistakably beaut bop.

Talking about the song Emma says: “Ed already had an idea for the chorus but wasn’t sold on the verses, so I did some soul-searching and came up with ‘I wanna be someone else’. We finished it together in my kitchen over a nice cup of Lady Grey. It was very good of him to step aside and let me take lead vocals on this one; this is CHILDCARE taking on another dimension.”

CHILDCARE play Two Tribes Brewery on the 14th November. Free ticket link here.
