The mysterious pop singer’s dreamy falsetto returns in his brand new EP, “One + One.”

Londoner Moss Kena managed to keep his identity somewhat of a mystery for the beginning part of his career, instead, strategically allowing the focus to fall on his ethereal gender-ambiguous falsetto.

Well, the cat’s firmly out of the bag now, but Kena’s signature piercing vocals are still populating his catchy brand of soulful pop. Exhibit A? His brand new EP, “One + One.” And “Silhouette” is the first single to be released from it – a track sporting a deft production: think delicate elements such as Spanish guitar strumming, synths and even a sample of what sounds like swirling water.

And the visuals have a real scrapbook element. Couples laughing, engaging in pillow talk; couples falling apart.

“’Silhouette’ is about breaking out of an intense relationship,” explains Kena. “Stepping out into the light of new possibilities and casting a shadow over the past. Ruby & Boya who I have worked with before really captured the sentiment and spirit of the song in the video which is always a hard thing to do.”
