Cats vs dogs. Yes, it’s an old-age debate that’s been known to divide a room based on preference/loyalty. But regardless of which side of the fence you sit on, there’s no denying the sheer cuteness of this new collaboration between and Grace Coddington.
The feline capsule “Catogram” collection is inspired by the fashion icon’s legendary love of cats and has made its home in an exclusive pop-up store at London’s Selfridges.
Coddington worked alongside Louis Vuitton’s artistic director (and fellow animal-lover), Nicolas Ghesquière, with the result being whimsical drawings of Coddington’s cats Pumpkin and Blanket, and Ghesquière’s dog, Leon, emblazoned on monogrammed chain bags, totes, silk PJs, tapered trousers, sliders (fave!), belted dresses and more.
And the best part? To enter the pop-up store, guests head in through a giant cat-shaped arch, with the walls and floor covered in their entirety in the iconic monogram pattern, plus animal illustrations.
Louis Vuitton x Grace Coddington is open at Selfridges between 26 October 2018 – 16 January 2019.
