GOD’S OWN JUNKYARD × SELFRIDGES

The dream team partner up for a neon-lit, rock ‘n’ roll inspired pop-up this winter.

God’s Own Junkyard: “halfway to hell”, and home to the late artist and designer Chris Bracey’s eclectic, iconic collection of neon lights, artwork and signs.

A popular shoot location in its own right, the East London warehouse displays a vast and vibrant range of pieces dating back to the 1920s, including old movie props from Eyes Wide Shut, Beetlejuice, Casino Royal, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Christopher Nolan’s Batman films.

Following their highly popular collaboration a few years ago, God’s Own Junkyard have created an ode to the intoxicating glam of ‘70s rock and the whirlwind disco scene of ‘80s New York for Selfridges, in line with the store’s rock ‘n’ roll themed Christmas campaign.

The pop-up will also feature an Alice in Wonderland ‘Instagram’ wall (soon to dominate your feed 24/7), with a technicolour display of arrows pointing in alternate directions, spelling ‘this way’, ‘that way’, and ‘follow me’.

Catch the pop-up exclusively in Selfridges from mid-October – 24th December.
