Unless you’ve been hidden under a rock for the last couple of years, your Insta feed and Pinterest boards have probably been vulnerable to the massive (sneaker) attack of solid, chunky, dad trainers – championed by celebs and the street style masses alike.
And London-based footwear brand SWEAR has been at the forefront of this, with their range of exaggerated, bold kicks inspired by the 90s music and culture scene (with all the customisable trimmings).
And now, SWEAR have launched their new Air Nitro style. Characterised by the brand’s signature platform Air sole unit, the sneaker is their most customisable yet. Panelling, trimmings, detailing. Customise your feet in suede, leather, hairy calf, and even python or crocodile – in all the colours.
If you err on the more indecisive side, the brand have put together 13 pre-customised styles, and enlisted the help of three influencers to design their own: artist Emily O’Donnell, fashion entrepreneur Eddie Wailes and model Pia Cruz.
