PREMIERE: CAPE WEATHER – “ORCHESTRATION”

The latest slice of indie-pop perfection from the LA-based besties.

After years of solo musical efforts, Natalie Smith and Eric Jackowitz met by chance in a classroom at Berklee College of Music and the rest, as they say, is history. Deciding to write tracks together, the formidable double act started to put songs online while Eric was touring playing drums with Nick Waterhouse, gathering attention from the blogs and their dreamy pop duo Cape Weather was born.

It would be right for you to take this as a clear act of fate. And the music they create does give off vibes of that moment in films where everything comes together/your fave characters kiss/you get that warm fuzzy feeling inside and can’t help but smile. You know the ones, right? Think “Don’t You (Forget About Me)”, but with more jingly guitar chords and delicate vocals.

Now releasing their latest addition to their fireworks-in-last-scene-style soundtrack, Natalie and Eric are dropping “Orchestration”. Full of beautifully nostalgic indie-pop melodies, the track explores the idea of wanting to get back to the one you love because you know it’s meant to be.

Get ready for the #feels, friends.
