The LA-based artist has fun with flawed relationships.

“You’re a nightmare and I love it,” reads LA-based Brooke Williams’ Twitter bio. It also happens to be the leading chorus line of her brand new single, “Nightmare” – which taps into the experience of an exciting, but ultimately flawed romance.

Reverberating electronic pop is infused with subtle country influences, with Brooke’s drawn-out melodies laid over the top.

“I used to hang out with this guy who always described himself as a ‘nightmare,’” explains Williams. “Every time I hung out with him, we’d have the craziest, most unexpected adventures. He was the kind of person who pushed your comfort zone and you’d become addicted to the fun and thrill of it. He was spontaneous, but could never make his mind up about a girl, let alone anything else.”
