BTS: PLEIN SPORT SS19

A court-side view of the triumphant return to Milan.

Plein Sport may have only launched one-and-a-half years ago, but they’re already in Grand Slam territory. Returning to Milan with a tennis-inspired collection, onlookers were transported to Beverly Hills Tennis Club as they looked upon the full-size grass court complete with palm trees where the show would take place.

Decked out in tennis whites that would make the Wimbledon judges beam with joy, the collection was heavy on its white, green and navy palette as the models made their way across the court in iconic sportswear pieces making us completely forget about John McEnroe’s signature short shorts and red headband.

The vintage inspired collection seriously had everything that comes to your mind’s eye when you think of tennis: headbands, knit cardigans and – of course – emblazoned tennis rackets. Not just looking good though, the looks were made from breathable materials and technical fabric so you won’t lose any of your ace-scoring-serve power when rocking the full outfit.

Our final result? Game, set and match to Plein Sport.
