7 WONDERS: HARRY STYLES AT THE O2

We had the hottest ticket in town and this is what went down.

Sometimes your job is hard, and other times you get to go fangirl over your favourite former One Directioner at his sold-out show at the O2. Heading down to North Greenwich last week, we caught number one babe Harry Styles ruling his Thursday night slot and our voices have still not recovered from singing along to (read: screaming) every word.

Our voices may be gone but the memories will never fade, so here are some of our fave moments from Hazza’s incredible show.

1. His strong suit game.

Everyone knows that Harry can rock a suit and Thursday was no exception. Decked out in a custom leopard-print Alexander McQueen suit, if Harry’s not your style icon yet there’s something seriously wrong with you…

2. Throwing back to the 1D days.

Taking us back to the time of the boyband’s best moments, Harry performed several One Direction songs – including two he wrote himself (“Stockholm Syndrome” and “If I Could Fly”). Cue us all singing along and dreaming of the happier days pre-2016-hiatus. We’re not crying, you’re crying.

3. Cover star.

Wowing both the teens and the adults they’d dragged along with them, Harry performed covers of Ariana Grande’s “Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart” – which he co-wrote – and Fleetwood Mac during the triumphant show. Man of the people, right?

4. Busting some moves.

Harry’s always been known to bust some Mick Jagger-esque moves and, as per, they were great. Flinging himself across the stage, he got the crowd going every time, approaching the edge of the stage to get those big cheers. We were loving it.

5. The die-hard fans.

We’ve all been known to fangirl but One Direction fans are something else. On par with Beatlemania, it’s no surprise that when Harry unveiled some songs that weren’t even on his fab self-titled debut album, there were still people who knew every single word.

6. Take it to the runway.

Approximately midway through the gig, Harry disappeared from stage causing the crowd to run toward the aisle that had been created on the floor. Walking through the crowd, he got everyone in the back v excited and we’re sure the people who managed to touch him have yet to wash.

7. The Haribo

Proving that he can literally do anything, Harry expertly caught a Haribo thrown from the crowd IN HIS MOUTH on the first try. The man is an enigma. Or maybe just really likes sweets…?
