I’m sure we all experienced it last weekend when you head home for the long weekend expecting to settle right back into that feeling of comfort, but something’s holding you back. Perhaps it was the fact that the shitty clothing store in town that you always kind of loved has shut down, or that your sister kept doing the Velvet Spoon trick so she wouldn’t have to make you a cup of tea as well, or maybe it’s just because the town that used to be all you knew seems somewhat unfamiliar.
It’s this latter feeling that Dublin-born, Brooklyn-based Sorcha Richardson perfectly captures in her new vid for “Can’t We Pretend”.
