SCOTCH & SODA SS18

“From Amsterdam, From Everywhere” is back.

“It’s a story of both world discovery and self-discovery,” explains Scotch & Soda’s Creative Director, Marlou van Engelen of round two of the brand’s “From Amsterdam, From Everywhere” campaign. “About how far you’d go and what risks you’d take to do things differently and choose your own way.”

Shot for a second time by Elisabeth Toll (a Swedish photographer whose lens excels at marrying fashion and landscape, obvs), the campaign sees Dutch models Wouter Peelen and Damaris Goddrie here pictured in Jordan, styled by Trouble Management’s Veronique Didry; an accompanying short from Amsterdam based film company Matemade can be found here.

With the Wadi Rum desert and the Dead Sea’s salt-white shores playing backdrop, the new campaign mirrors the inspiration behind the latest collection – namely the transforming lights of day. Translated to cloth this means a heavy dose of khaki, white shirts and plant prints.
