Hosted by Model Village at 100 Wardour Street for the platform’s 5th edition, between 17-19 February models had the opportunity to visit The Lounge and discover an array of exclusive perks – from massages and luxury goodie bags to a fashion wardrobe, delicious food and hair styling. An influencer platform which offers brands the opportunity to collaborate with highly engaged models on Instagram to deliver premium influence solutions, Model Village is also the first global members club for fashion models available in London, Paris and New York!
Through out the Lounge at LFW the atmosphere was consistently upbeat, as models discovered new brands and got the chance to meet other models who were also participating in the shows. The Lounge offered the perfect location for the girls to properly bond and exchange tips and advice about upcoming jobs and how to survive fashion week. This helpful industry insight allows models to better network and discover organic information that they can really only find through communicating with each other at events such as this. It’s also a great chance for new faces to bond with established models and learn the tricks of the trade.
The models experienced luxury perks including an exclusive fashion wardrobe with Reserved. The models were able to try on and take away the international high-street brand’s SS18 collection and received a discount on the collection itself in store! Models also received professional styling tips and advice to help them nail their casting looks and impress future clients. Gielly Green, a luxury hair salon was also at The Lounge, providing the ultimate pampering experience! The models enjoyed everything from styling, hair ups and traditional blow-drys plus future discounts at the salon itself.
Model Village also provided attendees with delicious food and nibbles throughout London Fashion Week, courtesy of Yoobi Sushi, Hummus Bros and Acai Berry. The models enjoyed these mouth-watering bites to help refresh and boost their nutrition, exploding their taste buds with fresh and organic ingredients. Since fashion week is such a hectic time for any model, maintaining a healthy diet is essential to help keep them going with their busy schedules!
The notorious tattoo artist Patrick Bates also appeared at The Lounge! As requested by popular demand, the models received exclusively designed tattoos, offering them something fun and different! His signature prints were the perfect way for the models to make the moment last and to help creatively inspire them! The models also received full body massages by Yogi2Me, helping to revive and refresh the body and mind, ensuring they felt their best and were ready to go for their next job!
Last but not least: the ultimate London Fashion Week Survival Kit, courtesy of Model Village! They provided models with products from the best brands so they could survive the craziness of the shows. The goodie bags included fashion week essentials ranging from snacks by Acai Berry, Pacari Chocolate, Rude Health and fashion accessories by Quay sunglasses, skincare facemasks by Glam Glow, and hair products Oribe.
