In the weeks leading up to London Fashion Week Model Village provided the ultimate workout routine tailored for models participating in the shows called Get Fired Up. The bespoke fitness programme consisted of HIIT, core work, strength training and meditation with professional trainers @itsalwayshana and Lawrence Hannah at Metabolic London. Over the two week workout out the models received exclusive gym gear provided by Gymshark to ensure they were fully prepared for each session and get their bodies in shape for the shows.
From tomorrow and for its 5th edition, Model Village will also be hosting The Lounge at #LFW – a safe haven for fashion models to regroup and unwind during such a hectic time. Model Village will be collaborating with fashion brand Reserved to offer agency signed models with an exclusive fashion wardrobe and inspire their casting outfits. From February 17 -19 models will receive a crucial survival kit at The Lounge at #LFW along with facial treatments, massages and more! On Sunday 19th Model Village will even be celebrating its one year anniversary with a special evening cocktails.
So what is Model Village? Started in 2015, Model Village was born a members club for models transiting through London, providing a home away from home in a friendly environment at the W Hotel. Today Model Village has expanded and is an influencer marketing platform offering premium influence solutions for brands to collaborate with highly engaged models on Instagram. It is the first global community for fashion models and still provides members with exclusive perks and privileges in London, New York and Paris. The intuitive app enables models to redeem luxury local experiences, boosting their careers through workshops and submit beautiful content to brands shared through Instagram that will help enhance their identity.
CEO and co-founder of Model Village, William Soulier, says that the wondrous world of Micro-Influencer is constantly growing: “Although fashion and beauty brands were naturally the first to collaborate with models on social media, other industries such as food and technology are now taking note! Model Village seeks to empower all models by enabling them to unlock unprecedented lifestyle perks, get discovered by brands and monetise their followings.”
