Marrying the past with today’s social activists and millennial thinker-cum-culture shifters, the label explores Cold War era America, the psychedelic groups that formed as a loose product of political activism, and LSD’s role within the era’s hippie movement; focusing on 1967, “Per Aspera ad Astra” (or “Through Hardship to the Stars) is the moniker awarded to this season’s output.
