Our fave songs right now.

Puma Blue – “Only Trying 2 Tell U”

South Londoner Puma Blue – aka Jacob Allen – is about to cement himself among the greats. With a voice that’ll give you goosebumps, his haunting falsetto glides above the jazz-tinged R&B backing on latest drop “Only Trying 2 Tell U” to create a completely mesmerising track that’ll make you feel all the feels.

Indoor Pets – “So Soon”

Releasing their first track since changing name from Get Inuit, “So Soon” is a welcome introduction to Indoor Pets. A power-pop banger, the new cut shows off the Kent quartet’s effortlessly sweet power-pop style backed by a ferocious indie leaning. “‘So Soon’ is quite different to any other Indoor Pets song,” frontman Jamie Glass says. “I wanted to just write a love song, and ignore the voices in my head that say that all signs of positivity need to be taken with a pinch of salt. I always avoided writing love songs because it felt forced and slightly unobtainable. ‘So Soon’ demonstrates that even the most cynical can fall in love. Hard too. And it caught me out, big time.”

Tom Misch – “Water Baby” feat. Loyle Carner

Getting us even more excited for the release of his debut album Geography, south London’s Tom Misch just dropped latest track “Water Baby”. Lifted from the upcoming record, the track glides through soul, hip-hop and jazz influences, and features one of our other faves, Loyle Carner. An exciting glimpse at what his debut album will hold, if this track is anything to go by, it’s gonna be mind-blowingly good.

Lil Miquela – “You Should Be Alone”

For someone who is not technically “real”, Lil Miquela sure knows how to make a really good song. Dropping her latest track “You Should Be Alone” last week, it’s a club-ready bop full of captivating melodies and a beat you can’t help but move to. The latest example of how she’s dominating the music, fashion and culture scenes, get ready to see more of the intriguing newcomer this year.

Yuki Ame – “Circles”

Bristol based producer Yuki Ame is giving us a sneak peak at his forthcoming EP “Anamnesis” with the release of newest song “Circles”. Featuring Zoe, the track is beautiful low-key jam combining electro-acoustic samples, hip-hop and synthesisers. Speaking on the song Yuki Ame says, “The concept formed from wanting to combine the melodic and harmonic nature of folk and written song with electronic rhythm and synthesis.” An utterly gorgeous number, “Circles” is an exciting look at what’s to come.
