Miu Miu‘s SS18 campaign has finally landed – and it’s everything we could have wished for, and more. Serving breathtaking visuals by Alasdair McLellan, the desert of Arizona here inspires a wistful yet enticing location for the meeting of young minds.

Featuring an all-star cast, including Adwoa Aboah, Elle Fanning and Oumie Jammeh (basically, all the bad-ass women we love to stalk on IG), the campaign is all about the promotion of progressive attitudes – simultaneously delivering an ultra-chic collection to totally liberate our spirits this summer.

Titled Return to Arcosanti, the campaign explores “the possibilities of experimentation, whether in the pursuit of preservation, justice [or] community.” It’s no surprise then, naturally, that the designs of a woman famed for nurturing experimental thinking are unveiled to us on women who so often use their social platforms to promote progressive attitudes themselves.

And within a landscape associated with both utilitarian and utopian freedom, the garments here feature a repurposing of decorative floral patterns and plaid, layered onto classic work-wear silhouettes. Set against striking concrete infrastructure, supple materials are accented with gemstones and wicker, leather and lace – treasures discovered in the sand. Feeling inspired yet?
