Unveiling the vid for “Melted Ice Cream” today, the scuzzy-pop song takes a pink-tinged look at a girls’ night in – featuring the classic teenage sleepover activities of nail painting, magazine reading and, um, Scrabble playing. Directed by Dylan Moore and reminiscent of the slumber party scene in Grease – minus the crappy ear piercing techniques – it’s a nostalgia heavy visual backing the tale of doomed teenage friendship and angst. Completely self-produced, the video is bubbly and brilliant and we can’t wait to see more.
