Models like to begin a new year by partying like it’s 1983 – who knew?! At least that’s the scene we’re now envisioning, Sunday night as the clock struck 12, thanks in no small part to this latest short, above, from Saint Laurent.

Lensed by Inez and Vinoodh, the film sees the Saint Laurent women “dancing endlessly the night away” to a soundtrack of New Order’s “Blue Monday”.

The women in question – Raquel Zimmermann, Anja Rubik, Hiandra Martinez, Maria Miguel, Adut Akech and Cara Taylor – wear the best of Anthony Vaccarello’s SS18 offering for the house (think feather edged frocks and matching boots, XL lapelled blazers and the like), bathed in neon and glow in the dark lights that add a further throwback element to proceedings.
