PREMIERE: BEFFROI – “95-96”

Dive into this deliciously dark new vid.

Belgian duo BEFFROI have been making waves for a while. Dropping their debut track “Swim” in 2015, they followed it up with 2016’s “Faith” and “Jade” earlier this year, establishing themselves as an electronic force to be reckoned with.

Now dropping their latest slice of dark electro-pop, “95-96″ is a hypnotic track detailing the struggles of being young. “It’s the story of being in your twenties in 2017.” The duo say. “Torn between teen and adult life not knowing where the hell you belong in this world. It’s about the challenges our generation faces today.”

Releasing the accompanying video as well, it’s a stunning visual masterpiece directed by Romain Choay. Speaking on the vid he says: “The track has a very strong relationship with water for me, it conjured the notion of drowning, literally but also figuratively. Sort of an odd to those who are distressed and who wish to break free from it. I devised these three stories of kids, all struggling with something different at the same exact time, and who are bound by their malaise.”
