The American producer on the perfect songs to kick back to.
Having lost her ability to make music for two years after being diagnosed with an extremely rare brain disease at the end of 2015, Jennifer Lee – aka TOKiMONSTA – has thankfully made a complete recovery. Returning with her third album Lune Rouge, the tracks blend hip-hop, pop and R&B influences to create an impressive body of work. More melancholic than her previous productions, her first music in four years weaves in elements of her past struggles in beautifully cinematic songs.
Now crafting a playlist for us, TOKi is mixing it up with a few bangers and some feel-good mellow eclectic jams. In her own words: “This is the perfect playlist to get back home to, whether it be over a glass of wine after a long day, or kicking back with your friend or significant other, these tracks will set the vibe right.” Enjoy…
