First meeting each other after sharing studio space, Arnar Gudjónnson and Harfn Thoroddsen soon discovered a shared love of synths and – luckily for us – Warmland was born. Both already established musicians – Arnar is the lead vocalist of the alternative rock band Leaves and Harfn was co-founder of the rock band Ensími – the duo have since moved away from their rock backing to embrace an 80s pop sound with their stunning new synth soaked songs.

Dropping the accompanying video for their brilliant track “Overboard” today, it stars some of Iceland’s top drag and cabaret performers.
