PREMIERE: GLITCHES – “FULL GENIUS”

The dreamy track gets illustrated.

Back after a short hiatus, south London trio Glitches – made up of Robbie Parks, Michael O’Neill and James Warner – are making their triumphant return. Gearing up to release their highly anticipated debut album, Lost Language, next month, the first taste of their new music is already amazing.

Dropping “Full Genius” earlier this year, it’s layered melodies and evocative lyrics reflect the new album’s strikingly intimate core. Speaking on the upcoming record, the three-piece explain that it is “an honest and raw account of the universal arc of love, from hope to the last stages of collapse. When we agonize too much over something precious, we can destroy it.”

Putting out the accompanying video today, the visuals reflect the hauntingly beautiful nature of the track. Recruiting Royal College of Art graduate Josh Armitage to create the video, his impressive minimalistic illustrations have made a completely captivating piece of film that will have you transfixed. As equally as beautiful as the song itself, check out the video below…
