adidas Originals has teamed up with Miami born New York based artist Daniel Arsham, creating a collection that harks back to the past. Featuring the classic adidas silhouette with frayed detailing, the pieces also have some understated Arsham infusions, including a unique midsole which, when exposed to an ultraviolet light, reveals the words “THE PAST IS PRESENT,” paying homage to Arsham’s infatuation with discovery and hidden meaning, themes which have become synonymous with Arsham’s work.

Accompanying the release, the sports brand have just dropped a short film series as part of the collaboration. Part-documentary, part-fiction, the series is made up of three shorts that explore the life of Arsham himself, exploring past, present and future; an integral motif explored throughout the collaboration.
