Places + Faces: London Pop-Up

Get exclusive IRL access to Ciesay and Soulz’ latest line-up.

132k followers, a zine and multiple parties after landing on Instagram, Places + Faces founders Ceisay and Soulz are opening a pop-up shop in collaboration with Red Bull Studios. Nestled on Berwick Street in Soho, the temporary store will showcase previously unreleased items from the photography-cum-lifestyle duo’s new range, as well as a few of the pair’s more familiar pieces: branded hoodies, jackets, sweatbands, and of course, the coveted Places + Faces shoulder bag, and there’s only a few days for you to grab yours IRL before it lands online next week.

Accompanying the store launch, the release of a 12-track mixtape – recorded at Red Bull Studios, a non-commercial space in the heart of South London – is likewise ready to drop. Featuring talent from Darq E Freaker, Kojey Radical, and Oscar Worldpeace, the mixtape will elsewhere provide the soundtrack to a new in-store exhibition of Ciesay’s photographs, set to hang alongside the new sartorial line-up.

Ciesay’s images – pictured here and taken during the recording the mixtape – perform as a backstage pass to the aforementioned studios; they capture the intimate process of making music that happens behind closed doors. On top of the exhibition, a secret performance from one of the mixtape contributors will also take place in-store. Place your bets now.

The Places + Faces pop-up shop will open at 70 Berwich Street for two days from Thursday 8th June.
