Premiere: Tora – "Empyrean"

The new track from the Australian indie rockers.

Further cementing themselves as a band you should definitely be listening to, Aussie quartet Tora have just dropped their latest track, “Empyrean”. Taken from their fantastic debut album, Take A Rest, the track is full of hypnotising melodies and expertly layered beats, creating a refreshingly unique take on indie rock that we can’t stop dancing along to.

Speaking on the track, vocalist Jo Loewenthal tells us, “Empyrean is a story about the highs and lows of a homeless man in Montreal, who fears the worst when he realises that winter is coming back. It’s one of the more ‘dancy’ songs from the album, with quite a lot of experimentation in the production elements. Definitely one of the new songs we are most looking forward to performing live.”

With a London show at the Lexington scheduled in for 9th October, time to start learning the lyrics and perfecting your dance moves now, because this is a band that you won’t want to miss seeing.
