Back in the 80s, James Cameron’s Aliens, the follow-up to the Ridley Scott directed Alien, was the film of the century. With ahead-of-its-time sets and FX, plot twists and turns and a groundbreaking performance from original bad-ass and feminist icon, Sigourney Weaver as Ripley, it’s understandable that it still reigns as of one of the cinematic greats.
As part of the costume for that film, Ripley wore custom-made boots provided by Reebok. The result of which was a long-standing relationship between the film franchise and the brand, one that remains intact today: the latest offering is a two-boot collection based on the franchise, aptly named Alien Stompers.
Drawing inspiration from the “gloss finish of the Xenomorph exoskeleton” and “Ripley’s battle-ready cargo suit,” the Reebok’s come in special packaging that was produced following heavy research into the Alien franchise – manifesting today in a box designed to mimic the terrifying chamber of Queen’s chamber.
Both shoes will be released as one complete pack on July 18th 2017
