London newcomer Nilüfer Yanya is fast becoming one of the most talked about singers around. Having recently announced her sophomore EP “Plant Feed”, the follow up to 2016’s debut “Small Crimes”, Nilüfer is spoiling us by releasing the visuals to her beautiful track, “Golden Cage”.

As Nilüfer’s signature smoky voice flawlessly glides over the jazzy upbeat track, the video sees her hanging out in various locations, in shots that echo the nostalgic vibes of ’90s TV shows. Describing the track as “knowing you’re caught up something but you have no desire to attempt to leave”, it’s a stunning and soulful song, with hypnotic hooks and an effortlessly cool vibe that is perfectly embodied in the accompanying video.
