Blood Brother SS17

The brand just dropped its new SS17 look book.

Taking inspo from the Great British holiday (you know the sort, summers spent in Margate with a choc ice, donning a bucket hat), Blood Brother’s SS17 collection imagines a city-slicker rushing straight from work to vacay bliss. The manifestation of this thought process is constructed loungewear featuring pin-stripe shorts, fisherman gilets, and workman cut trousers.

Designers Nick Biela and James Waller said of the line-up: “Inspired by writing home on a postcard, rushing to a sun trap in the city, or making the most of a long weekend camping, this collection is a dedication to those making the most of a sunny day in an often rainy Blighty’”

Expect to see a plethora of materials (jersey, light-weight wool and weather-proof materials) and shapes that reflect the often changing climate experiences throughout Britain’s summertime, as well as a colour palette mostly made up of whites and deep blues.

Needless to say, there’s no summertime sadness when it comes to this collection. Shop it here.
