ÉTUDES: DÉRIVES IN LONDON

The Wonderland fave has dropped a new capsule collection.

Once a prominent part of the Wonderland shop floor (before fans all but wiped us out), contemporary menswear label Études knows a good thing when it finds it – in this case the pop-up concept – and as such has just landed in Harvey Nichols’ Project 109 on the department store’s lower ground floor.

Running for four weeks until mid-May, the temporary set up is the physical announcement, if you will, for a new capsule collection from the five year old brand: Dérives In London. Nestled amongst a carefully curated edit of Études’ SS17 collection, the petite line-up, shot above by Alex F Webb, comprises two T-shirts and a tote bag; each produced in a monochrome palette with the label’s bold typeface.

Based between Paris and New York since 2012, Études’ Knightsbridge stopover marks the latest in a series of ‘Dérives In’ installations from the self-defined collective (their offering extends beyond cloth), with the capital joining previous hosts, Seoul, Tokyo, New York and LA.
