BELSTAFF × VESTIAIRE COLLECTIVE

The heritage brand explores its Trialmaster archive.

Joining the 600,000 piece line-up of pre-owned desirables that comprises Vestiaire Collectives enviable collection, Belstaff this week has announced a unique exclusive that opens its archive to the luxury site.

Initially unveiled at London Fashion Week in February – after more than two years of careful curation – the British heritage brand showcased a strong selection of its 93-year leather archive; today it champions its iconic wax cotton offerings, with 10 of the label’s Trialmaster jackets arriving online on 4th May.

Part of the current ‘Fit for Purpose’ campaign which explores the development of Belstaff’s technical practice in weather proofing its wares (since 1924), the jackets featured include some of the first generation of the Trialmaster series from the 60s and 70s, as well as the hero four pocket design, first trademarked by the brand in 1969 and later adopted by much of the biking community.

The first collaboration of its kind for Belstaff, the jackets, which will be sold online exclusively with Vestiaire Collectives, can be viewed IRL at the brand’s New Bond Street flagship, for fans who fancy getting up close and maybe slightly personal with the aviation, military, naval and moto based designs.
