Premiere: Inca Maps – "That Wasn't Easy"

A dreamy synth sensation.

You know that feeling when you look back on a pretty shitty relationship, but you’re not mad, you just think “Lol, what tf was I thinking?” That’s the inspiration behind Inca Map’s newest track “That Wasn’t Easy”.

The follow-up to their incredible debut, “Weave”, their second track is bold and punchy, showing just what the trio are capable of. Echoing the sense of reflection in the lyrics, the synth lead track gives us a bit of 80’s nostalgia, with Matt Tilling’s emotional falsetto floating beautifully on top.

The second track from their upcoming EP, which is set for release this summer, the London lads are already gaining loads of buzz. And it’s not hard to see why. If this is any indication of what the boys have in store, we can’t wait for the summer.
