At 16 years old, Sody has talent beyond her years. Following last year’s debut EP, which included the incredible single “Wasted Youth” now at 1.5 million streams, Sody is back with her newest track, “Let Go”. Speaking on the track, Sody told us, “‘Let Go’ is about freedom and I really wanted to capture that in the video. It’s all about shaking off the pressures and stresses of life, particularly those that young people face. I wanted to write a song that everyone could relate to and interpret in their own special way, as for me, letting go is escaping with my friends and going on an adventure!”
The track is a gorgeous pop belter, showcasing Sody’s impressive vocal and songwriting ability. A beautifully crafted pop song, the accompanying video reflects the carefree and uplifting vibe of the lyrics.
Currently studying for her GCSEs, Sody is planning her domination of the pop world with a string of post-exam live dates, and we can’t wait to see what else she has in store.
