Australia-born Lucy Mason is your new dream-pop sensation. Having moved to London around five years ago, the experience was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. “Since moving from Australia almost five years ago, my life has been a whirlwind of highs and lows which ultimately lead to my breaking point” Lucy explains, “I had allowed disappointment, frustration and failure to take over my life and it had to end”. But instead of being overcome by the struggles, she took her feelings and put them into songs, creating her stunning new EP “Going Home Broke”.

The EP consists of five songs showcasing her honest and beautiful lyrics with her elegantly polished vocals. Now she has released the equally enchanting short film of the EP. Speaking about the video’s creation, Lucy said, “My friend Matt Sharp was my flatmate last year for a few months over the summer and instead of paying rent he made this amazing video instead! We set out originally just to make a minute worth of footage per song to tell the story of the EP but this is what it turned into! We filmed in various locations all over London, from parks and friends kitchens to boats and freeway underpasses. We wanted to document the whole record and to be able to remember that time in London forever.”
